We do not collect any personal information such as your name, email address, or contacts.

b. Usage Data

We use Firebase Analytics to collect basic anonymized usage data to help improve the app. This may include:

  • Device type and OS version
  • Feature usage metrics
  • App crashes and performance logs

This data does not include your name, Apple ID, email address, or any identifying information.

c. Syncing Across Devices

Your flashcard data is stored using Apple iCloud to sync across your devices. This data is:

  • End-to-end encrypted by Apple
  • Not accessible by us
  • Stored securely within your own iCloud account

We do not have access to your data stored in iCloud.

d. Advertising

We do not use or access your Advertising Identifier (IDFA). WidgetCards does not serve ads or engage in targeted advertising.

2. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party service:

  • Firebase (Google LLC) – For basic analytics

Firebase may collect certain data as described in its own Privacy Policy. This data is anonymized and used only to understand general app usage trends.

3. Your Rights and Choices

Since we do not collect personal data or require user accounts, there are no account-specific controls necessary. If you wish to stop data collection:

  • You can disable analytics tracking in the app’s settings (if applicable).
  • You can opt out of analytics tracking on your device via Settings > Privacy > Analytics & Improvements.

4. Children’s Privacy

WidgetCards does not knowingly collect or store any personal information from children under the age of 13. The app is safe for all ages and does not include user-generated content or social features.

5. Data Security

We take your privacy seriously:

  • iCloud data is protected by Apple and encrypted.
  • We do not store or transmit personal data to our servers.
  • Firebase data is anonymized and securely stored by Google.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the app or on our website. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of any changes.
